Fall is in the air and  leaves are changing color. What a beautiful and spectacular time of the year even here in the Bay Area where Fall is not as colorful as some other parts of the country. The slight chill makes for a good excuse to grab that extra cup of tea or hot chocolate or cappuccino! And I love driving around town scouting for locations for Fall Portraits. Yes, it’s part of our job as photographers to always keep looking for good locations, and sometimes it can even be a clients’ backyard.

These photographs below were shot on the official first day of Fall and although colorful leaves are there in only one of the shots, I loved the color and brightness of the girls dresses. All in all it turned out to be a day to remember with some beautiful shots! I think my favorite are the tree shots maybe because the girls had so much fun climbing and posing in front of the trees. It is always fun and makes my day when kids enjoy the Photo Shoot 🙂

It was not by accident that I stumbled this week upon the complete quote by Henry David Thoreau that I used in my very first blog post. “If you advance confidently in the direction of your own dreams, and endeavor to live the life you have imagined, you will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. It will chase you.”
